Cost Consulting for Fraternities & Sororities

About Stevens Consulting

We are a sole proprietorship that has over 50 years of business experience. Oak Stevens retired in 2022 and was elected President of his Fraternity Alumni Organization in 2024. Since then he has moved the bookkeeping services to a new vendor, established a new Tax ID with the State of Indiana, ensured the proper filings with the State of Indiana relative to the Chapter's non-profit 501 c 7 status and helped the Chapter save over $5000 a year in Taxes.  If you work with Stevens Consulting, you will be working with Oak  Stevens.  After a minimun of two, no charge meetings, we will mutually decide if my experience will be of value to you and your Chapter.

If we agree to move forward, we will structure a working relationship, if we don't, we will part ways.

Our mission is smart, sustainable savings

From chapter houses to social calendars, we build transparent budgets, spending controls, and vendor strategies that protect member experience while reducing dues pressure.

Data-driven insights

We benchmark utilities, food, apparel, events, and housing against peer chapters and national averages, then prioritize high-ROI actions with clear owner timelines.

A little about Oak

Oak is a graduate in Physics from Purdue University and went on to Northwestern to get his MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Kellogg School.  He has worked for Fortune 500 companies (P&G and KPMG) and has founded and run small to medium size businessess ($1MM to $100MM) as President.  He retired from KPMG in 2022 as a Managing Director responsible for an 8 person sales team delivering over $320MM in consulting revenue to companies in the Energy Sector.

Oak is only doing this work because it is both fun and rewarding to help the next generation of young men and women have a great college Fraternity and Sorority experience.

He won't work for free, but he is very reasonable.
